Member, Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association
My professional journey began as a high school teacher and literary scholar. I hold a PhD in Literature from ELTE University, Hungary, and my deep love for books—especially novels and poetry—still shapes much of my work. Later, feeling called to support others more directly, I earned a degree in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON.
I enjoy weaving my two worlds together, often incorporating literature into counseling. In group settings, I’ve facilitated poetry and creative writing circles, where we read excerpts from literary works and explore the emotions they evoke.
My clients often have rich inner worlds and complex histories—people who question their place in the world, who feel “too much,” or have been told they are too sensitive, intense, or ungrounded. This may include, but is not limited to:
Survivors of trauma (including childhood or generational trauma) who carry untold stories
Neurodivergent adults (e.g., with ADHD) seeking deeper self-understanding
Clients with moral or spiritual injuries—those who feel betrayed by faith, family, or society
Older adults or caregivers facing the loss of identity, independence, or purpose
Artists, writers, and thinkers looking for a therapist attuned to metaphor, ambiguity, and emotional complexity
My primary modalities are narrative therapy and existential therapies, but I also draw on CBT, DBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, Humanistic, Solution Focused, Mindfulness-based and Art Therapy-informed techniques.
In my personal life, I practice Vipassana meditation daily, and I enjoy jogging and hiking in the beautiful surroundings of Vancouver.
If you are facing a life transition that leaves you feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or searching for deeper meaning, I am here to help you navigate those uncharted waters. I believe that life changes—whether they involve career shifts, relationship changes, loss, or personal growth—can be powerful opportunities for self-discovery.
My approach is rooted in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your inner world, uncover your values, and make meaning from your experiences.
Drawing from existential therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based and creative approaches, I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals. Together, we will explore the heart of your journey, helping you find clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose.
