Azita Alipour

Azita Alipour is an Iranian visual artist and ontological researcher whose work delves into the profound depths of human experience and its connection to the universe. Her creations challenge the boundaries between the visible and the unseen. Working across various mediums, including painting and sculpture, she employs mixed media techniques and natural materials to reflect on complex themes such as mortality, eternity, and the very concept of “being.”

Azita Alipour’s art draws inspiration from meticulous observations of nature, Eastern and Western philosophies, and introspective reflections on humanity’s place in the cosmos. Each of her pieces is an invitation to pause, contemplate, and discover the hidden layers of reality. She believes that art is not merely a reflection of the world, but also a tool for a deeper understanding of self and our connection to the invisible dimensions of existence. Through her works, Azita endeavors to take the viewer on an inner journey, opening a new window to the perception of existence and its ambiguities, love, and human roots. The incorporation of lines and script in her work serves as one of her key communicative tools.

Educational and Professional Background:

Azita Alipour began her artistic journey after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery at the University of Tehran. This scientific background provided her with a deeper perspective on concepts of life, birth, and existence, which later resonated throughout her artistic works. Driven by a lifelong passion for art, she continued her education in Painting and Design at the same university, while simultaneously conducting research in art history. Her strong interest in form and volume led her to pursue sculpture privately.

Azita Alipour boasts nineteen years of continuous activity in the field of painting. Over these years, she has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Tehran, including at Milad Tower, each reflecting her artistic evolution and ontological explorations. Beyond her artistic endeavors, eight years of experience teaching painting at private art schools in Tehran demonstrate her commitment to sharing knowledge and a love for art with new generations. These extensive experiences have shaped her into an artist with a multifaceted perspective and distinct intellectual depth.
